Q. D. Brown, age 78 of BelAir Circle, Gainesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center follow an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Summit Street, with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Mr. Brown will lie in state from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church before the service. Reverend Kenneth Brown and Reverend Dr. Marcus Dixon will officiate.
