Mary Thomas Moose

Mary Thomas Moose, 67, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 following an extended illness.

A lifetime resident of Hall County, born on July 10, 1941she was the daughter of J.W. Thomas and the late Dorothy Lou Gailey Thomas. She was head teller at First Federal for many years. She was a member of Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moose; son, Tim Moose; step-mother, Margie Thomas and mother-in-law, Blanche Moose.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Kerry Moose of Gainesville; father, J.W. Moose of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Dewey and Elaine Thomas of Gainesville, Rev. DeWayne and Paulette Thomas of Fairburn, Richard and Sarah Thomas of Gainesville; grandchildren, Katie McDowell and Jessie Moose both of Gainesville; other special relatives, Betty and Tommy Justus of Dahlonega and Daniel and Carol Jones of Huntsville, AL.

Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2009 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Little & Davenport, 355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dwayne Welborn will officiate. Interment will be in the Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church cemetery.
