John Elbert Parrish

John Elbert Parrish, age 53, of Baldwin passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009.


Born in Emanuel County, GA, on September 01, 1955, he was the son of Loretta Backens Aspray and James Parrish. He was employed in sales with Coca-Cola Enterprises in Gainesville. Mr. Parrish was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also a loving husband and father.


Surviving are wife, Susan Parrish of Baldwin; daughters, Jenna Parrish and Nicole Parrish both of Baldwin; son, Nick Parrish of Baldwin; mother, Loretta Aspray of Greenville, SC; father and step-mother, James & Patsy Parrish of Turnerville; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff & Shonna Parrish of Easley, SC; sister, Debbie Parrish of Simpsonville, SC; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Bobbie & Danny Barton of Cornelia; brother-in-law, Randy Smith and his wife, Judy of Clarkesville; nieces, Holly Daves and Emily Parrish.


Memorial services are 1:00 pm Saturday, March 07, 2009, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Jeff Mann, Rev. Paris Whitworth and Rev. George Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the service hour.
