Patrick Anthony Jones

Patrick Anthony Jones, age 47, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, GA following a brief illness.

Pat was born in Gainesville, GA January 26 1962. He was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Pat was the son of the late Carl and Marjorie Perry Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Jones, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Sage Jones, sons, Gus and Tyler Jones; daughter-in-law, Cyndi and granddaughter, Kaylee Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Preston and Betty Jones. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jones are scheduled for 2 PM Friday March 6, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Andy Caldwell and Rev. Phill Miller will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home all day on Thursday starting at 11 AM.
