Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Charles T. Osborn Jr., age 77 of Cleveland. Mr. Osborn passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tim Walton officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park
Mr. Osborn was born in Walton County, Georgia on January 16, 1932 to Charlie T. Osborn Sr. and Ella McCord Osborn. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for DeKalb County and had lived in White County since 1999. Mr. Osborn was of the Holiness faith
He is survived by is wife of 57 years, Lizzie Knight Osborn of Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Brenda & Danny Boozer, Cleveland; son, Ricky Osborn, Cleveland; sons and daughters in law, Terry & Jane Osborn, Washington, Georgia; Wayne & Bobbie Osborn of Cleveland; sisters and brothers in law, Bo & Ruth Bradford, Covington; Mary & Lamar Rutledge, Covington; Ann & Ronnie Dodd, Porterdale; sisters, Margaret Anderson, Covington and Louise Cagle also of Covington ; brothers and sisters in law, Roy & Lynn Osborn, Covington, Clark & Kathy Osborn, Covington
Mr. Osborn is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Monday and Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM
