Roy E. Broome

Roy E. Broome, age 81, of Homer, GA passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009.
Mr. Broome was born in Jackson County, Commerce, GA, on January 20, 1928 to the late F.E. and Mamie Lee Vaughn Broome. He was preceded in death by his sister, Addie Fay Pearl Broome, and a brother, Ralph Broome. Mr. Broome was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Banks County where he was a deacon and taught Sunday school for a number of years.
