Joseph Ronald "Ronnie" Daws

Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel announces the death of Mr. Joseph Ronald "Ronnie" Daws, age 62, of Carnesville, Georgia, who died Tuesday, February 24, 2009.


Funeral services wil be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 01, 2009 at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Westbook officiating. Interment will follow in Social Circle Cemetery.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.


Survivors include his wife, Angela Daws, Carnesville; children: Steven Daws, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; David and Christy Daws, Walnut Grove; Amberly and Nathan Mack, Carnesville; Andrea Steen, Columbus; Adrianne and Jody Mackey, Snellville; Ashli Bell of Hoschton; Adam and Elizabeth Roberts of Duluth; 18 granchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Neal Daws, Jr.; Ralph and and Sue Williams of Bethlehem; twin sister, Diana and Tom Preston of Auburn; sister-in-law, Margaret Williams of Cumming; nieces and nephews and cousins.


Mr. Daws was born in Fulton County, Georgia, and lived most of his life in the metro Atlanta area. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force; self-employed as an Auto Electrical Specialist; and a member of the Gwinnett Vineyard Church.
