Robert Hampton Garmon

Mr. Robert Hampton Garmon, Age 97, of Dahlonega, Ga. died Monday February 23, 2009 at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega.

Mr. Garmon lived in Dawson county before coming to Lumpkin county in 1961. He owned and operated Garmon T.V. Repair in Dahlonega for a number of years. He was a WWII Air force Veteran and attended Antioch Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Summerour Garmon and his parents Charles T. and Martha Hayes Garmon.

He is survived by his Daughter; Juanita Garmon; Dahlonega. Sons and Daughters in law; Bobby and Susie Garmon and Michael and Barbara Garmon all of Dahlonega. 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Thursday February 26, 2009 at Harmony Baptist Church in Dawson county. Rev. Clifford Allen will officiate.

Burial will follow in Moss Memorial Park in Dawson County.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-9pm Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
