Hoyt Wilbanks

Mr. Hoyt Wilbanks, age 81, a native and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II and was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise White Wilbanks. Hoyt will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend to many.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Randle Gaddis of Cumming and Jane and David Mertens of Athens; granddaughters Victoria Mertens and Alona Mertens both of Athens; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law Lois and Edwin Garner of Cumming, Ruby Cook of Cumming, Louise Wilbanks of Cumming and Geraldine Strickland; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24th, at 12:00 noon at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. B. Seabolt officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
