Anthony Rosario Maggio, born October 24, 1936, in Woodhaven,
New York to the late Alexander and Martha (Calavetta)
Maggio. Tony spent his formative years on Long Island.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his discharge, he
was a motorcycle officer with the Montgomery County, MD
Police Department. Shortly after, he started his own
business.
Tony owned and operated Draft and Soda Systems Maintenance
Co. for thirty five years in the District of Columbia,
Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Tony was a people
person, and in his retirement, Tony enjoyed his family and
several hobbies including boating on Lake Lanier.
Tony also participated in raquetball, softball and baseball
among other sports.
Tony is survived by his wife; Jean (Fox) Maggio, childrenâ
