Buck Bruce

Buck Bruce, age 43 of Lula, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Hall County on September 21, 1965, he was the son of Susie Armour Bruce and the late Jimmy Bruce. Buck was a car dealer for 25 plus years and was a member of Lula Worship Center. Two of his favorite hobbies were riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Robinson Bruce.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Kayla & Josh Lee of Lula; mother, Susie Bruce of Lula; sister and brother-in-law, Opal & Randy Gilleland of Lula; brother, Darren Bruce of Lula; three grandchildren, Dylan Lee, Cody Lee and Landen Lee; he is also survived by two nephews, two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Thursday, February 19, 2009, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday and from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Wednesday. The family is at the residence of his sister, Opal Gilleland, 4838 Cagle Mill Road, Lula, GA 30554.
