Edward O. (Ed) Reed

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Edward O. (Ed) Reed, 82 of Reed Drive, Oakwood. The Rev.
Doyle Thornton will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday February 16, 2009 from 6:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m.

A life long resident of Hall County, Mr. Reed was the son of the late William Lonnie and Era Maude Allen Reed. Mr. Reed worked as the assistant manager at the Chicopee Community
Store for a number of years before going to work for Paris & Dunlap Company in the sales department from which he retired. Mr. Reed was a member of the Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

Survivors include his Wife; Jackie Reed, Oakwood; Daughter and Son-in-law; Paula and Philip Casper, Gainesville; Grandchildren; Ashley Smith, Gainesville; Jeremy Casper,
Athens; Special Great Grandson; Wyatt Casper, Gainesville; Sister-in-law; Mrs. Wilburn L. "Ruby" Reed, Gainesville; Nephew and wife; Frank and Harriett Reed, Gainesville.

Mr. Reed is preceded in death by his brothers, Wilburn L. Reed and B. Harold Reed and sister, Bobbie Lord.
