Ernest Ray Harris

Mr. Ernest Ray Harris, age 80, of Dahlonega, GA died Saturday Feb. 14, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Harris was born in Forsyth County, GA January 4, 1929. He had lived in Lumpkin County for many years. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. He was retired from Fieldale Farms.

Mr. Harris was the son of the late John Ernest Harris and Ellen Elizabeth Sorrow Harris and was also preceded in death by Infant Son, Wayne Harris; Brothers, Dinner Harris, Johnny Harris, and Bobby Gene Harris; and Daughter-in-law, Jeanne Harris.

He is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Corabell Seabolt Harris, Dahlonega, GA; Sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery Harris, Cleveland, GA, Willard and Sylvia Harris, Cleveland, GA, Dean and Louise Harris, Dahlonega, GA, Timothy and Gail Harris, Dahlonega, GA; Daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Jerry Anderson, Dahlonega, GA, Regina and Wesley Blackwell, Cleveland, GA, Renee and Joseph Hamilton, Dahlonega, GA; Brothers, Russell Harris, Oakwood, GA and James â
