Johnny Woodrow Watson

Obituary Date: Friday, February 13, 2009
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday February 16, 2009 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Johnny Woodrow Watson, 66, Alto, Ga. Rev. Tommy Ross and Rev. Steve Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 6pm-9pm Sunday at Funeral Home. Mr. Watson passed away of injuries Friday from an auto accident.

Mr. Watson was born in Jackson County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Welder and a member of The Masters Table Church.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Poe and Eunice Watson, a son Douglas Allen Watson. Survivors include, son & wife, Johnny Edward & Melissa Watson, Alto, Ga. Brother, Fred Elrod, Gainesville, Sister, Sandra Ann Dove, Gainesville Fiancee, Rethil Allison, Alto, Ga., Grandchildren, Brittany, Brandy, and Cheyenne Watson, and Nikki Lee. Great Grandchildren, Serenity Lee and Johnny Edward Watson, II. and a number of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Wards Funeral Home 758 Main St. Gainesville in charge.
