Doris Hamby Eubanks

Mrs. Doris Hamby Eubanks, age 71, a native and life long resident of Forsyth County passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009. She was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Eubanks.


Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Johnny and Cynthia Eubanks of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Chuck Thompson of Cumming; grandchildren, Andrea Eubanks of Dawsonville; Hannah Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson and Ethan Thompson all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Doris Hamby of Cumming, Ralph and Patricia Hamby of Cumming and Larry and Shirley Hamby of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Noell and Ernest Honea of Cumming; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Carnes, Rev. Jason Hamby and Rev. Harold McCord officiating. Interment will follow at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, February 13, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
