Cleve Bruce

Cleve Bruce, 73, of Dawsonville died Friday February 6, 2009 at the Chestnut Ridge Nursing Center following a period of declining health.

A lifelong resident of Dawson County, Mr. Bruce was an avid Braves fan and had a love for repairing and riding bicycles. He enjoyed comic books and caring far his cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lillie Bruce; sister, Jeanette Reece, and infant sister and brother, Mandy and Jimmy.

Surviving are his sister and brother in law, Dessie Lou and Wendell Wallis, Buford; brother in law, Harold Reece, Dawsonville; nieces and nephews, Diane and James Satterfield, Stacey and Mandy Reece, Karen and Keith Heard, Randy Wallis and Kim Williams. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 9, 2009 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hugh Fields will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
