Ruby Lee Tomlin Cantrell

Funeral services for Ruby Lee Tomlin Cantrell, age 92, of Clarkesville, will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville. Rev. Russ Barker and Rev. Billy Burrell will officiate with burial to follow the service in the Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Cantrell passed away Thursday, February 6, 2009 following a period of declining health.

Born on August 10, 1916, Mrs. Cantrell was the daughter of the late William P. and Mammie Chastain Tomlin. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Mrs. Cantrell was retired from Habersham County Hospital.

Survivors include daughter in law Judy Hicks of El Cajon, California, as well as three grandchildren.
