Ronald Phillip Rainwater

Mr. Ronald Phillip Rainwater, age 67, of Pendergrass, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Mr. Rainwater, born in Atlanta, was a son of the late Minor Rainwater and the late Corrie Lewis Rainwater. He was a painter and a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mathis Rainwater.


Survivors include daughter Michelle Massey of Commerce; daughter and son-in-law Susie and Jon Jackson of Dahlonega; sons Ronnie Rainwater of Braselton, Gary Rainwater of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Carmen and Currie Dalton of Jefferson; grandchildren Ashley Rainwater, Tiffany Rainwater, and McKayla Rainwater, all of Braselton; Zackery Massey and Matthew Massey, both of Commerce; Cameron Dalton and Ciley Dalton, both of Jefferson; Constance Jackson, Siera Jackson, Jacoby Jackson, Sydney Jackson, and Jayden Jackson, all of Dahlonega; sisters: Ollie Mae Boyd of Pendergrass and Helen Patton of Oakwood.


Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, February 5, 2009 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery.
