Earl Griffin

Mr. Earl Lamont Griffin, 77 of Flowery Branch, Ga. passed
away Sunday January 25, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia
Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday January
29 in the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Loren
Hildebrandt and the Rev. Jerry Eggnberger will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The
family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 27, 2009.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial
contributions to the Flat Creek Baptist Church Building
Fund, 5504 Flat Creek Road, Gainesville, Ga. 30504.

Born in Key West, Florida, Mr. Griffin moved to Hall County
in 1986 following his retirement. Mr. Griffin was the son
of the late Cyril and Anthony Gordon Griffin. Mr. Griffin
had served in the United States Army and was a member of the
Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death in death by two sons, Mike
and Wayne Griffin and two sisters, Mary Parker and Shirley
Sibilia.

Survivors include his wife; Sue Griffin, Flowery Branch;
Grandson, Dean Griffin, Atlanta; brother, James Griffin,
Ocala, Fla.; nieces and nephews; Neil Parker, Ocala, Fla.,
Josh and Mike Griffin, Ocala, Fla., and Debbie and Mike
Sibilia, San Antonio, TX.,
