Bobby Edward "Bob" Bishop

Mr. Bobby Edward "Bob" Bishop, age 75 of Alpharetta, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009. He was a member of Christ Community Church where he served as a deacon, Men's Ministry Leader and sang in the choir for years. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force serving in management engineering. He retired from Sears and Discover Financial Services after 32 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Beverly Bishop of Alpharetta; daughters and sons-in-law Debra and David Suttles of South Carolina, Barbara and Tommie Hart of South Carolina, Lisa and Doug Buurman of Alpharetta and Denise and Evan Cotten of Alaska; grandchildren U S Navy E T David II and Jennifer Suttles of South Carolina, Paul Buurman of Alpharetta, Chad Buurman of Alpharetta, Kearstyn Cotten of Alaska and Glynnis Cotten of Alaska; great grandchildren David III and Clarie Suttles of South Carolina.

Memorial services will be held Monday, January 26th at 1:00 pm at Christ Community Church with Rev. Jason Skipper, Rev. Dennis Lacy and Rev. Sam Booth officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in North Atlanta Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Christ Community Church on Sunday, January 25th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Christ Community Church, 5455 Campground Rd, Cumming, GA 30040, 770-442-8600.
