Dwight Allen Olson

Dwight Allen Olson of Gainesville passed away in his home on January 20, 2009 at the age of 79.

Mr. Olson is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Bernice Evelyn Quint Olson and is survived by his children; Marianne and Roger Scott, Gainesville, GA, Brenda and Bob Mead, Richmond, VA, Stephanie and Peter Gordon, Gainesville, GA, Karen and Bill Weaver, Arlington, VA, Stephen Olson, Gainesville, GA, Amy and Tim South, Southaven, MS, Allen and Sarah Olson, Flowery Branch, GA and Linda Olson Black, Ellijay, GA.

Mr. Olson is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Andrew Scott; Daniel, Marina and Isabella Mead; Sonrisa, Dean and Emmett Trippe, and Tao Ventre; Lee and Jessica, Mary Kate and Tony Weaver; Joshua and Kim Olson; Clara and Matthew Olson and Stacey South. In addition he will be remembered with warmth and love by his large extended family and many friends here and around the world.

The family will gather for a private remembrance service and request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
