William Rogers Head

Strickland Funeral Home announces funeral services for William Rogers Head of Clermont. Mr. Head was born on February 8, 1928 and passed away January 20, 2009 at his home.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 23 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Don Underwood and Rev. Jimmy Moor will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, January 22 from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Head is survived by his wife, Alice' Q. Head of Clermont; daughters and sons-in-laws: Sheila and Fred Fussell of Sautee, GA, Vicki and Ricky Beggs, and Carol Ann and Tim Attaway of Clermont, and Sue and Bob Sharp of Bristol, VA; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law: Christy and Walt Helms of Marietta, GA, Morgan and Drew Griffin of Forsyth, GA; granddaughter Katy Sharp of Bristol, VA; grandsons: Brad Fussell of Oakwood, GA, Will Beggs of Boulder, CO, Mitch Attaway and Jake Beggs of Clermont, and Bret Sharp of Bristol, VA; and great-grandsons Alex Helms and Grant Helms of Marietta, GA, and Kyle Griffin of Forsyth, GA.
