Mel Moore

Mel Moore, age 65 of Tiger formerly of Cornelia, GA passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009.
Mr. Moore was born in Sailsbury, NC on September 16, 1943 to the late Joe Webb and Louise Phillips Moore. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Michael Moore.
Survivors include wife, Joan Moore, Tiger, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Nokie Moore, Cornelia, GA, Chris and Lisa Moore, Demorest, GA and Lynn and Christy Moore, Batesville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Tommy Clark, Ellenboro, NC, and Lisa and Reggie Teal, Fayetteville, NC; brother and sister-in-law, David and Dixie Moore, Cornelia, GA; 4 grandchildren, Darrell Moore, Jessica Moore, Jennifer Moore, and Brelyn Moore.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 6-9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a fund will be set up in his name at Habersham Bank.
