Martha T. Wiley

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Martha T. Wiley, age 82, of Carnesville, Georgia, who died Friday, January 16, 2009 at the BJC Hospital in Commerce.

Born in Morgan County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Berry Wesley Tatum and the late Minnie Lawrence Tatum. Mrs. Wiley was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jan W. Moor.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Wiley of the home; sons, Donald (Pam) Wiley of Commerce; Jimmy (Terri) Wiley of Carnesville; daughter, Melissa (John) Beatty of Homer; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha T. Wiley will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 18, 2009 from the Nails Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Dwayne Eller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The remains will lie in state in the church on Sunday, January 18, 2009, from 2:30 until the hour of the service at 3:00 PM.
