David Eugene Druse

David Eugene Druse, age 64 of Flowery Branch, Georgia, died Thursday, January 15, 2009 following a two year battle with cancer. Mr. Druse has been cremated. A private memorial and interment will be held in May in his beloved home town of Woonsocket, SD. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request and appreciates donations to Hospice of NE GA Medical Center, Gainesville, GA. David is preceded in death by his parents, Stacy and Ethel Druse and brother Jimmy Druse all of Woonsocket. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Michele Marie Druse, Flowery Branch; Children, Todd David Druse, Jennifer Leigh and Amil Chowdhury; Grandchildren, Makenzie Druse and Noah Chowdhury; Sister, Lois Nielson, SD. Twin Brother, Douglas Druse, SD; Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Druse worked for 40 years in sales, the past 22 as Military Sales Manager for Oberto Sausage Co. He was a veteran who proudly served in the US Army from 1965-1971. He was a member of Flowery Branch Methodist Church. David loved his God, his country and his family and was an inspiration to many.
