Evans Funeral Home announces the death of

Carol Sue Sexton Murray, age 45, of Auburn, who passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009. Mrs. Murray was born on June 15, 1963, a daughter to Rev. and Mrs. Clinton and Martha Payton Sexton of Commerce. Mrs. Murray was a Medical Records Coder at Emory Eastside Hospital in Snellville, where she was a member of the Hospital Relay for Life Team. She was a born again Christian and attended the Twelve Stone Church.

Survivors, including her parents are, children, Heather Marie Murray and

T.J. Murray both of Auburn; sisters, Judy (Jerry) Fields, Jefferson, Wanda (Darry) Bennett, Tennessee, brothers, Earl (Dorothy) Sexton, Jefferson, Johnny (Lisa) Puckett, Lawrenceville, Randy Puckett, Flowery Branch, Rev. Cory (Karla) Sexton, Madison; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 2PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Clinton Sexton and Rev. Cory Sexton officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be T. J. Murray, Randy Puckett, Steve Fields, Johnny Puckett, Earl Sexton, Jerry Fields and Darry Bennett. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-9pm at the funeral home.
