Alawayne Beck Moore

Alawayne Beck Moore, age 70 of Demorest, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.



A lifetime resident of Habersham County, she was born on July 24, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Fay and Gertha Littleton Beck. Mrs. Moore was a retired LPN with 20 years of service and was of the Holiness faith. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking in her spare time. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ardell Moore.



Surviving are daughter, Jackie Turpin of Demorest; son, Ronnie Moore of Demorest; grandchildren, Brandi Hurt and Chuck & Susan Turpin; great grandchildren, James Anderson, Angel Anderson, Chloe Turpin and Caroline Turpin.



Graveside services are 2:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2009, from the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the service hour on Thursday.
