Donald Emmerich

Donald Eugene Emmerich, age 80, of Belmont Highway, Gainesville, GA passed away January 13, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, at 10:30 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment to follow at a later date in Oakland, New Jersey. Father Paul Burney will officiate.

Mr. Emmerich was born January 3, 1929 in New Haven, CT to the late George Emmerich and Margaret Connolly Emmerich. He was retired as a lift truck tech and served in the Navy.

Mr. Emmerich is survived by his wife, Nancy Emmerich, Gainesville, sons, Thomas Emmerich, Mobile, AL, James Emmerich, Aloha, OR, William Emmerich, Gainesville, Robert Emmerich, Gainesville, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
