Cindy Pirkle

Mrs. Cindy Pirkle, age 44, of Dahlonega, Ga. died Thursday January 8, 2009 at her residence after a long battle with cancer.

Cindy was born in Chatham county, she had lived in Lumpkin county for a number of years. She was a Pharmarcist at Chestatee Regional hospital in Dahlonega, Ga. for 18 years. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, Ga.


She is survived by her husband; Mark S. Pirkle, Daughters; Megan and Kelli Pirkle all of Dahlonega. Parents; Alvin D. and Gwen Futch, Pembroke, Ga.
Mother in law; Martha Emeli Pirkle, Dahlonega. Sister: Christina Futch, Pembroke. Brother; William Futch, Pembroke. Sisters and Brothers in law; Teresa and Wyman Smith, Angela and Billy Hughes, Tracie and Jim Sullivan III. Paternal Grandmother; Mildred Futch, all of Pembroke, Ga.
Brother in law; Jim Pirkle, Forsyth County. Sisters in law: Judy Porter and Kaye Molden both of Forsyth county. Nieces: Jessica and Lindsay Smith, Sarah and Emily Hughes, Ansley Sullivan, all of Pembroke, Ga. Dana Pirkle, Natalie Molden, Niece and Husband, Briana and Joey Vaughan, all of Forsyth County. Niece, Holly Pirkle, Phoenix, Az. Nephews; Matthew Pirkle, Phoenix, Az. Clayton Sullivan, Pembroke, Ga. Nephew and wife; Micha and Stephanie Porter and Family of Dahlongea. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and a large number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2pm Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, Ga. Rev. Ray Prince and Rev. Alan Morris will officiate. The body will be placed in state at the church at 1:30pm Saturday.

Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm Friday at Banister funeral home in Dahlonega, Ga.
