Pat Whitehead

A celebration of the life of Patricia "Pat" Whitehead of Gainesville will be held 11:00 am Saturday January 10, 2009, in the Chapel of Wards Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Morris will officiate with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 2pm- 4pm and 6pm- 8pm at the funeral home. Mrs.Whitehead passed away Tuesday January 6, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Whitehead was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the daughter of the late Elbert and Jimmie Morgan. She was a graduate of the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and had worked in earlier days at
N.E. Ga. Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She was known for her professionalism , but most of all for her caring and compassion to her patients.She had been a RN for over 40 years and retired from Fieldale Co. To her family she had been a loving wife, mother, grand mother and sister and will be dearly missed. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Whitehead. Those wishing may make memorial gifts to. Cameron Mooney. Great Grand children, Keden LaCount, Macie Goodsir, Keanu LaCount, Vince Reyes, and Jesse Soto. Sister & brother-in-law, Erice & Bob Johnson, Gainesville Nephews, Blake and Michael Johnson Great Niece, Ginger Johnson Great Great Nephew, Adrian.
