Boyd Henry Wood

Mr. Boyd Henry Wood, age 71 of Cumming, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He was a member of the Lafayette Lodge # 44 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty E. Wood of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Mitch Armour of Cumming and Lisa and Anthony Kimbral of Cumming; grandchildren, Kevin and Clarissa Smith of Cumming, Josh Kimbral of Cumming, Aimee and Nick Roper of Ball Ground and Amanda Worley of Newnan; great grandchildren, Ava Smith of Cumming and Devin Worley of Newan; brother, J T Wood of Hoganville; sister, Joyce Densmore of Union City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis and Terry Wood of Houston, TX and Gene and Jane Wood of Austell; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and T J Youngblood of Cumming; sister-in-law, Shirley Horne of Cumming; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Truel Martin, Rev. Greg Rawlins and Rev. Jeff Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm.
