Charles Terrell "Terry" Ledford

Mr. Charles Terrell "Terry" Ledford, age 51, of Murrayville, GA died Sunday January 4, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Ledford was born in Lilburn, GA October 3, 1957 and had lived in the Lumpkin County area most of his life.

He was the son of the late W.H. and Grace Mathis Ledford.

Mr. Ledford is survived by his loving wife, Judy Ledford, Murrayville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Ginger Grindle, Gainesville, GA; Daughters and son-in-law, Angie and Steven Riddle, Dahlonega, GA, Melissa Ledford, Dahlonega, GA, and April Ledford, Dahlonega, GA; brothers, Warren Ledford, North Carolina, Tommy Ledford, North Carolina, David Ledford, Atlanta, GA, and Johnny Ledford, Dahlonega, GA, Sisters, Jan Barrett, Dahlonega, GA, Donna Ledford, North Carolina, Era Mae Ledford, Commerce, GA, and Kathy Ledford, North Carolina, Grandchildren, Emily Riddle, Shawn Riddle, Colten Riddle, and Sydney Grindle. A number of other relatives also survive.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 PM Tuesday January 6, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Joseph Kemper will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the memorial service and immediately following the service.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
