Eugene Allen

Eugene Allen, 42, of Gainesville died Saturday January 3, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Allen was the son of the late Willie Gene Allen and Lottie B. Cantrell.

Survivors include his wife; Joyce Allen, Gainesville; son, Courtney Eugene Allen, Gainesville; sisters; Annie Barnes,
New York City, NY; Linda Joiner, Alto; Ophelia Parker, Duluth; Gloria Jean Allen, Gainesville; brothers; Victor Cantrell, Lamar Cantrell, Earl Cantrell, Jesse Simpson, all
of Gainesville; Issac Simpson, Jefferson. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 6, 2009 in the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Fields will officiate. Interment will follow in the
Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday January 6, 2009 from noon until 1:00 p.m.
