Daniel Dills

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Daniel Dills, age 35, of Arcade, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009. Mr. Dills, born in Commerce, GA, was an insulation installer with Porter Insulation Company.

Survivors include his companion: Pamela Bray Gill of Jefferson. Daughter: Christina Griffith of Statham. Mother and stepfather: Connie and Steve Booth of Danielsville. Father and stepmother: Jerry and Dottie Dills of Jefferson. Brothers: Ricky Dills of Bethlehem; and Jeremiah Dills of Jefferson. Sisters: Christy Thurmond of Arcade, and Lori Fields of Statham; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. David Carey and Rev. David Staton officiating. Interment will follow in Evans Memory Gardens, Jefferson. Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Brown, Jeremy Aaron, Todd Foster, John Dills, Mike Thurmond, and Anthony Thurmond. Jodie Fields will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 PM at Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, 706-367-5467.
