Larry Samuel Allen

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at Sardis Baptist Church, for Larry Samuel Allen, 59, of, Gainesville. Rev. James Kanaday will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Monday, January 5, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Hall County, Mr. Allen was the son of the late Sam and Minnie Haywood Allen. Mr. Allen was a welder for Martin Docks, a graduate of Gainesville High School and a member of Chestatee Baptist Church.

Mr. Allen is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chyne and Michelle Allen of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Ricky Lee of Gainesville; daughter, Angelia Dunahoo of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Everett Parks of Cumming; six grandchildren, Bradley, Nikita, Brandi, Alesha, Stacie, Dylan and a number of nieces and nephews.
