Clinton Hulsey

Obituary Date: Friday, January 2, 2009
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home, for Mr. Clinton Hulsey, 88, of, Gainesville.

Rev. Royce Powell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00p.m.and from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A native of Hall County, Mr. Hulsey was the son of the late Claude and Annie Forrester Hulsey. Mr. Hulsey had lived in Atlanta and Chattanooga, TN for a number of years before moving back to Gainesville. He was a retired vice-president from the furniture business and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Hulsey served in the United States Army during World War II.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Vicie Roper Hulsey; sisters, Jewel Hulsey, Mildred Dilbeck, Bobbie Hulsey; brothers, Forrester Hulsey, Brite Hulsey, Tacster Hulsey, Quentin Hulsey, Claude Hulsey, and George Hulsey.

Mr. Hulsey is also survived by his brother, Jerry Hulsey of Clermont, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church or the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center at 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30504.
