Stanley Eugene Wilcox

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of
Mr. Stanley Eugene Wilcox, age 78, of Jefferson, who passed away on January 1, 2009. Mr. Wilcox was born on May 20, 1931 in Hot Springs, SD. He was the son of the late James and Thelma Clemens Wilcox. Mr. Wilcox was in management with the J.C.Penney Company, and was a member of the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Stone Mountain. He was the owner of Eugene's Interiors in Stone Mountain and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves, serving during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kay Wilcox, Jefferson; daughters, Debbi Riehle, Jefferson, Janine Liakos, St. Augustine, FL, Caryn Cameron, St. Mountain, Tina Corbin, Jefferson; sisters, Delores Schooler and Joyce Owensby both of Bremerton, WA. 8 Grandchildren and 1 great Grandchild.

A Private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
