Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Jackie Pierce Cochran, age 53 of Murrayville. Mrs. Cochran passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2008 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dean Bryant , Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Les Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochran was born in Hall County on May 7, 1955, and lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Cochran, Murrayville; daughter and son in law, Nickie and Jimmy Davis, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Scott and Sherry Allen, Cleveland; Mother, Virginia Pierce, Cleveland, Father, Rev. Jack Pierce, Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Becky and Charles Whitlock, Cleveland; brother and sister in law, Eddie & Mary Lou Pierce of Gainesville, brother, Ronnie Pierce, Cleveland. Mrs. Cochran is also survived by her grandchildren Tanner Davis and Gage Allen.
