Master Zachary Harp Lacy

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Master Zachary Harp Lacy, age 9, of Cumming who died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004.

Zach was a student at Chattahoochee Elementary School and was of the Baptist faith. He loved playing soccer, four-wheeling and camping with his Dad. He also had a keen inerest in creative building, Legos, art, creative stories, and liked to pretend he was a school teacher, helping his younger sister. Zach was aa stunt man and a joy to his parents, grandparents and great grandparents.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Kathy Lacy; sister, Savannah Lacy; brother, Thomas Lacy; grandparents, Tom and Mimi Lacy, Chicago, Illinois; John and Martha Clarke, Toronto, Canada; Darwin and Helen Harp of San Antonio, Texas; great grandparents, Lee and Vi Dodd, Cumming; Grace Lacy, Anderson, South Carolina; Bob and Irene Frances, Sebring, Florida; and Kate Lumbach, Sheridan, California.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2004 at the Cumming Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Harrison and the Reverend Mimi Lacy officiating. Interment wil follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardent.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 27, 2004 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zachary Lacy Memorial Fund in care of Hudnall, Cohn and Abrams, Cumming, GA, 30041.
