Francis Loys "Bud" Seabolt

Mr. Francis Loys "Bud" Seabolt, age 76 of Clermont, Ga., died Wednesday September 22, 2004 at his residence after a battle with cancer.

Mr. Seabolt was born February 29, 1928 in Lumpkin County to the late Francis N. and Cora Bell Harkins Seabolt. He was a retired poultry farmer, as well as an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dahlonega.

Other than his parents, Mr. Seabolt was preceded in death by his Sisters: Dollie Rider, Amy Seabolt, Icie Wilson, Flora Bell Gibbs, Martha Roper, Twin Sister: Lorene Meers, Half sisters: Pearl Lingerfelt, Belle Dowdy, Mattie Anderson, Caroline Stancil, Lona Crow, Ovie Satterfield, Tinnie Rider, & Cora Miller.

Survivors include his Wife of 53 years: Betty R. "Sharla Fae" Satterfield Seabolt, Clermont, Ga. Sons & daughters in law: Roger & Barbara Seabolt, Clermont, Ga., Wayne & Deborah Seabolt, Dahlonega, Ga. Don & Sharon Seabolt, Clermont, Ga., Daughters & sons in law: Wanda & Wender Bulloch, Flowery Branch, Ga., Sandra & Mike Haynes, Clermont, Ga., Grandchildren: Matthew & April Truelove, Knoxville, Tn, Justin & Meghan Seabolt, Athens, Ga., Jared & Kelly Seabolt, Dahlonega, Ga., Christopher Bulloch, Flowery Branch, Ga., Christy Seabolt, Mark Seabolt, Hank Haynes, Renee Seabolt & Nic Haynes, all of Clermont, Ga., Leania Bulloch, Flowery Branch, Ga., Ben Rodriguez, Cara Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Patrick Boyce & Aaron Boyce, all of Clermont, Ga. One Great-grandson: Joshua Truelove, Knoxville, Tn, Special friends: Jerry and Patty McCormick. A host of loving nieces, nephews, & friends also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday September 25, 2004 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with Rev. David Skinner, Rev. Jerry McCormick, & Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again on Friday from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. and from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M.
