Ronnie Jose Buffington

12/13/2004Ronnie Jose Buffington, 35, of Gainesville died Tuesday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A native of Gainesville, he was preceded in death by three grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Buffington, Gainesville; father, Winford Paul Cheeks Jr., Gainesville; grandmother, Myrtle Ramsey, Decatur; children, Joshua Marques Buffington, Jessica Lavette Buffington, Jasmine Nicole Wright, Anitra Linnette Bullock, Keeana Monae Bullock and Ronnie Jose Buffington Jr., all of Gainesville; sister, Negla Turner, Decatur; and brothers, Eric Turner, Decatur, and Terry Brownlee, Gainesville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at St. John Baptist Church. The Rev. Eugene Green will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Memorial Gardens.
