Paul Edwin Chastain

Paul Edwin Chastain, 69, Bay Lane, Gainesville, Ga. passed away October 13, 2005 at New Horizons North; following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, October 16 at Memorial Park Chapel. Rev. Henry Loggins and Rev. Jack Kelly will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Chastain was born in Cherokee County to the late Junia L. Chastain and Belle King Chastain. He graduated Gainesville High School in 1955, attended North Georgia College and the University of Georgia. He was a licensed realtor and broker. He became vice-president of Chapman Realty of Atlanta, Ga. and then went on to establish Chastain Realty Corp. He was a longtime member and past exhaulted ruler of Elks Lodge BPOE # 78 Atlanta. He was an avid boater and retired to Lake Lanier where he enjoyed his part time a business success in Float Air Boat Lifts.

Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Jay Buzhardt of Lawrence, KS; Son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Terri Chastain of Marietta, GA; Granddaughter, Megan Chastain, Grandson, Trey Chastain, Granddaughter Cameron Buzhardt, Grandson, Chastain Buzhardt, and Granddaughter, Morgan Buzhardt; Sister, Lola Pugh; and brother-in-law, the late Charlie Pugh of Dawsonville, GA; Sister and Brother-in-law, Sarah and Larry Chapman of Loganville, GA; Brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Shelia Chastain of Buford, Ga, and Ray and Linda Chastain of Clermont, GA; and 9 nieces and nephews.
