Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Melena Gail Sullivan, 45, of Jim Grizzle Rd., Royston, Ga. who died early Tuesday morning at her residence. Born in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Oley Milton Ward and Frances Ann Cowart Ward. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Stowe and a daughter, Melissa Gail Bray.
Survivors include husband of the home, Mark Wesley Sullivan, Sr.; sons, Shane Bray, Comer, Mark Sullivan, Jr., Beauford, SC., Chris Bray, Homer, James Sullivan, Ft. Hood, TX.; brother and sister in law, Mickey Ray and Peggy Ward, Toccoa; sister and brother in law, Donna and Kenny Hooper, Homer, Shawn Stowe Miranda, Athens; grandchildren, Lucas Spears, Katie Bray, Emily Bray, Amber Bray and Gabriel Bray.
Funeral services for Melena Gail Sullivan will be conducted on Thursday at 2:00PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Reverand Randall Studivant officiating. Interment will follow in the Nicholson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7-9Pm and at other times at the residence.
