Nora Stover Sullens

Nora Stover Sullens, 90, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a long illness.

She was a homemaker and mother of ten children. She was very faithful serving God and was a member of the Church of God for over sixty years. She attended the Trinity Full Gospel Church and the Northside Family Worship Center. Her voice was heard praying for prayer requests many years on radio station WRWF in Cleveland, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Oscar Stover; her second husband, W.B. Sullens; four sons, infant Lee Ervin Stover, infant Richard Stover, William Junior Stover and MacArthur Stover; and one son-in-law, Melvin Towe.

She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby Towe of Gainesville, Irene and Edward Towe of Gainesville, Hazel and Gary F. Anderson of Gainesville, Olene and Lewis Dyer of Blairsville, Ruth and Dale Burke of Buford; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Wilma Stover of Blairsville; one stepson, Marc Sullens of Gainesville; 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Northside Family Worship Center, Cleveland Highway, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetary. Rev. Dennis Taylor, pastor of Trinity Full Gospel Church, and Rev. Eddie Wiggins, pastor of Northside Family Worship Center, will officiate.

Memorial Park Funeral Home of Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.
