James Cal Brock

Mr. James Cal Brock age 72 of Danielsville passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Brock was born to Sadie Gary Brock Royston of Hartwell and the late, J.C. Brock.  Mr. Brock was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from DuPont.  In addition to his father, Mr. Brock was also preceded in death by his brother, Carey Brock.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Ethel Bowen Brock of Danielsville; daughters, Malinda Cape of Canon and Michelle Almond (JP) of Comer; sister, Elaine Boleman of Royston; brothers, Roger Brock of Nicholson, Todd Brock of Nicholson, and Terry Brock of Hartwell; five grandchildren, Kirsten Casper, Kendra Wilson (Eric), Hunter Casper, Mason Casper, and Colby Cape; four great grandchildren, Remi Owensby, Langston Owensby, Burkelynn Owensby, and Wrenley Wilson.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30^th at 1 PM from Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11 AM till 1 PM.
