Joaquin Martinez

Mr. Joaquin Martinez, age 91 passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born to the late Julian Martinez and Ines Soto-Mora on August 16, 1934 in Amatepec, Mexico.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Iglesia Del Dios Vivo, 3445 Mabry Road, Gainesville, GA 30504. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the church from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Grandson, Revered Rudy Rebollar will officiate the service.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents, and wife; Indalecia Santa Maria Medrano, daughter, Graciela Martinez Santa Maria, sister, Leonor Martinez Soto, and brothers; Pablo Martinez Soto, and Maximo Martinez Soto.

Mr. Martinez is survived by 1 sister Josefa Martinez Soto, children, Elpidia Arellano SantaMaria, Miguel Arellano SantaMaria, Maria Del Carmen Rebollar Arellano, Virgilio Martinez SantaMaria, Raquel Martinez SantaMaria, Victoria Martinez SantaMaria, Delfina Martinez SantaMaria, and Eva Martinez SantaMaria, 31 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
