Ms. Virginia “Gini” Seixas Carter, age 73, of Hoschton, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Gini was born December 25, 1951 to Alverson Carter & Virginia Milner Carter in Conway, South Carolina. After a few years living in Myrtle Beach, her family moved to Richmond, Virginia for a while; but she spent most of her youth in Atlanta, including two high schools: Dykes and Chamblee. She took courses at Presbyterian College and Anges Scott College. She earned a master’s degree from Clemson University. Her interests in body work, psychology and spirituality brought her to California. In 1991 she earned a PhD in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, in San Francisco. We were all quite proud.
Both her parents and her two older siblings predeceased her – Alverson Carter, Jr. and Ida Richards “Rickie” Carter Consola.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Milner Carter, Rickie’s daughters –Virginia Milner Morgan, Anna Richards Consola (Timothy Roth and son, Carter Roth) and Sarah Lucille Welch (Mathew Welch). Gini’s husband, John C Zoranovich, and his two Children Ms. Laura Filice and Samuel C Zoranovich, also survive and miss her. There are several large circles of loving family and friends, on both coasts.
She loved her pets: numerous cats and two miracle dogs, Buddy and Mollie.
