Mr. Ambry Ronald “Pete” Allen, age 86, of Danielsville, GA died Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Allen was born in Commerce to the late Ambry DeWitt Allen, Jr. and Merdelle McGinnis Joyce. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Commerce, Cattleman’s Association and Commerce Jaycees.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Gail Watson Allen of Danielsville; daughters, Amy Allen Halley (Jim) of Commerce and Lisa Allen (Robert Makin) of Pittsburgh, PA; son, Casey Allen (Andrea) of Harlem, GA; brothers, Joe Catlett and Danny Allen both of Ila; grandchildren, Jordan Halley, Anna Beck, Tucker Allen, Taylor Allen and Taryn Allen; and great-grandchild, Hadlee Beck.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Friday, August 22 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Vestal officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.
