Connie Faye Summers Shadburn

Connie Faye Summers Shadburn, age 67, of Buford, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Elizabeth Summers; brothers J. L. Reed and Roger Reed.  Mrs. Shadburn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Royce J. Shadburn of Buford, GA; daughter, Ann Shadburn Angel of Taccoa, GA; grandchildren, Rachel, Jasmine, and Reese; great-grandchild, Everly; sisters, Alice Reed, Sue Wilkins, Ruby Reed; brothers, Toy Reed, Donnie Summers, Roy Reed, Eddie Reed, and Richard Reed; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Shadburn family.

Mrs. Shadburn was born August 6, 1958 in Gainesville, GA.  She received her education at Rockdale County High School in Conyers, GA.  Mrs. Shadburn worked for Wendy’s Restaurant in Buford, GA for a number of years.  She was a member of Mercy Point Tabernacle Church in Flowery Branch, GA.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Matt Calvert, Rev. Chris Hulsey, and Rev. Morris Shadburn officiating.  Interment with a Graveside Service will follow at Mercy Point Tabernacle Church Cemetery in Flowery Branch, GA, with Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
