Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Harry “Jack” Stanley Horner, age 84 of Bethlehem, Georgia who entered rest Monday, August 1, 2025. Mr. Horner was born in Washington, D.C. a son of the late Harry and Dorothy Stanley Horner. Mr. Horner was of the Baptist Faith and was the retired owner of Jack’s Auto Air of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida after serving the community for fifteen years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Horner is preceded by a sister, Joyce Warnack.
Mr. Horner had a liver transplant for 21 years and a kidney transplant for 10 years and we are forever greatful to Dr Andreas Tzakis and his teams at Jackson Memorial in Miami and Cleveland Clinic in Westin Florida, for all of their hard work.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years Dianne Freeman Horner. Four daughters, Lori Horner, Jackie Zanolin, Tammy Bragg (Kevin), Tracie Penagos (Frank). Brother, Barry Horner (Cheryl). Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Horner, his remains were cremated and no service is planned.
